Dublin's student favorite

Your syllabus is heavy.
Your coffee shouldn't be.

Single-origin pour-overs, house-baked croissants, and outlets by every seat — built for students who refuse to choose between great coffee and a place to get work done.

Our Story

Coffee that respects your time — and your taste

Common Grounds was founded on a simple observation: students don't need another place to sit and scroll. They need a third space — somewhere between the library and the dorm — where the coffee is intentional, the pastries arrive fresh every morning, and the Wi-Fi actually works.

We source single-origin beans, bake in-house before the first class starts, and keep outlets near every table because we know a laptop battery dying mid-essay is a real tragedy. Whether you're cramming for finals or meeting a study group, this is your ground.

  • Single-origin pour-over & espresso bar

The Space

Built for focus,
designed for comfort

Every detail is calibrated for the way students actually work. Quiet zones for deep reading, communal tables for group projects, and a corner that stays warm for the person nursing a single coffee through a three-hour paper.

What Students Say

Loved by the campus community

"I've turned Common Grounds into my second library. The pour-over is genuinely excellent, the Wi-Fi never drops, and the staff remembers my order after two visits."

— Verified student

"The breakfast sandwich changed my life. I come here every Tuesday before my 8 a.m. and the croissant is always warm. It's the best part of my week."

— Verified student

"Finally a coffee shop that feels like it was designed for students, not against us. Quiet, affordable, and the cold brew is dangerously good."
